Frances May is a directional men’s and women’s boutique located in Portland, Oregon. The business is a joint venture between grandmother, Connie Codding and granddaughter, Pamela Baker-Miller. The name for the shop was inspired by Connie’s mother, Frances May, who was a school teacher and influenced the store’s branding in the form of manilla elementary school flash cards and library slips.

Very Impressed

5/ 5

The fit is a slightly average, maybe even athletic cut — but by no means fitted. The sleeves are well proportioned for my skinnier, taller build. Very impressed that there are no strangely sized area or imperfections on the shirt. I purchased three different shirts, and all seemed to fit uniformly well. We’ll see how they hold up to washes, but they don’t appear to be wrinkle resistant — always going to need to iron these shirts.
